Is your dog having a "ruff" day? Chris' Critter Sitters Inc. now offers "Doggie Field trips" to Smyrna Dunes, Glencoe, or Ponce Inlet Dog Park. Give your pup a change of pace, let them run and play in the surf and sand. They will come home tired
and happy. Check out each park below and see what your 4 legged friend has in store.
New Smyrna Dunes Park
Was rated "3 paws up" by The Dog Lover's Companion to Florida by
Sally Deneen & Robert McClure. "Dogs love this place. They're allowed at
the riverside beach and the inlet side beach, but not on the ocean side
beach favored by surfers, sunbathers, and migrating piping lovers."
Park facts:
- Open sunrise to sunset
- Has a 1.38-mile boardwalk
- Park is 73 acres
- Picnic shelters and grills are available
Chris' Critter Sitters Obey Every Park Rule:
- Dogs are leashed at all times ($55 fine!)
- Boxes containing pooper-scooper bags are posted next to walkways
Doggie Field Trip Fees & What Your Pooch Gets:
- $45 for 120 minutes
- Transportation to and from the park from your home.
- Admission to the park ($3.50) is included.
- Lots of exercise with fun in surf and sand.
- A tennis ball for playtime
- A complimentary bath (towels & shampoo are on us!)

Ponce Inlet Dog Park
Ponce Inlet dog park is located at 4700 N. Peninsula Ave. The hours are great for every one!
Park facts:
- Open from 7am to 9pm, everyday.
- Large fenced areas so your dogs are free to play unleashed.
- Areas have been designated for large dogs and smaller dogs.
- Great blend of sun and shade so every one will be comfortable.
- All dogs must have a current Ponce Inlet license.

- $45 for 120 minutes, bath included
- Transportation to and from the park from your home.
- Lots of exercise.
- A tennis ball for playtime.

South Glencoe Dog Park
The New Smyrna Beach South Glencoe dog park, located behind the Humane Society, is a great place to take your dog and let him romp around with others. This is a great place for your dog to be able to just let lose and have fun.
Park facts:
- This park has 2 fenced in sections. One is for large dogs and has a large concrete pipe, scattered fire hydrants and some toys.
- The second section is for smaller dogs, area has a small concrete pipe and some toys for the dogs to play with.
- Poop bags and trash cans are provided in each section of the dog park for you're convenience.
- Picnic tables and benches are also placed through out the park.
- There is a water fountain for drinking and to fill dog bowls.

Holly Hill Dog Park *NEW!*
The Dog Park at Riviera Oaks Park is located at 980 Alabama Ave.
in Holly Hill. CCS checked out the park to see if it
was a service we would like to provide to our clients and this
was our findings:
Ashton (full time sitter) stated "This park is awesome! This
area is huge!! Its kind of like being in the woods. Which is
cool."
Ashton spoke to one woman who said "I've been coming here for 3
years with my dogs. We love it! Every one that uses this park
takes pride in it and always clean up after our dogs and if we
find others than we clean that up too. Shovels, rakes, and
chairs have been donated also. I feel very safe coming here at
anytime of time. At different times a day 'clique' come and hang
out together and their dogs play together. It is a wonderful
place to let my dogs play!"
Park Facts:
- Three Off Leash Parks!
- One is fenced woodsy play area for big dogs over 30
lbs.
- The second is a smaller fenced area for small dogs under
30 lbs.
- The third is fenced in & has a large pavilion in it.
This is for dogs that aren't really social, but are
still able to play & go wild. Next to it is a dirt path
that loops around a large pond.
- Owners can sit on benches & chairs beneath shady
trees.
- A walking path and restroom are available
- Two water stations with clean bowls, & also a hose
attached to clean pets off.
- There are toys scattered all around, fire hydrants & frisbees.
Chris' Critter Sitters obeys every park rule:
- Park users and dogs assume all risks related
to park use
- Owners must remain w/ dogs and carry leash
in fenced area.
- Must have current vaccinations and wear
current license, rabies certifications and identification.
- Dogs must be removed at the first signs of
aggression.
- Dogs defined as dangerous and aggressive are
not allowed in the park.
- Dogs in heat are prohibited.
- Shovels are provided to pick up poop. There
are poop bags tied to every chair.
- Choke chains, pronged training collars, and
studded collars are prohibited.
- No food or treats are allowed in park. (
human or dog).
